Kirk Anderson, Mayor
Kirk Anderson served as an Alderperson on the City Council in St. Croix Falls Wisconsin. Kirk was first appointed in January 2018 to fill a vacancy on the council.
Already running unopposed, Kirk was asked by Mayor Brian Blesi if he would be willing to be seated early. He agreed and was later approved by the full City Council and sworn in on January 29th.
On April 3, 2018, Kirk was elected to a 2-year term as Alderperson. He was sworn in for the 2nd time on April 9, 2018.
In April 2020, Kirk was elected Mayor of the City of St. Croix Falls and re-elected in 2022. He has announced his bid for a 3rd term as Mayor on January 3, 2024.
Fire Fighter & First Responder
In 2015, Kirk joined the St. Croix Falls Fire Department and serves as a Firefighter/First Responder, responding to structure fires, car accidents, and emergency medical calls, as well as a variety of service opportunities in the community.
In 2015, Kirk was honored to be presented with the “Dedicated Service Award” and in 2016, he was named “Firefighter of the Year.”
Kirk is the owner of Kirk Anderson Marketing, a technology consulting company that specializes in online solutions – website design, search engine optimization, video production, and social media management.
Kirk is married to Shara, his wife of nearly 26 years. They have lived in St. Croix Falls for 20 years, moving into the city limits in 2016. They have 5 children who are actively involved in music, church, and sports.
Kirk has been an active member of the Falls Chamber of Commerce (2003-present), President of the St. Croix Valley Connections Group (2014-present), Rotary Club (2008-present), St. Croix Falls Fire Department (2015-present), and Alliance Church of the Valley (2003-present).
Kirk enjoys photography, producing videos, snowshoeing, hiking, hunting, fishing, and camping.
